Jac Strickler

CEO

Jac, our CEO, leads with heart, authenticity, and over eight years of hard-earned sobriety. Originally from Northern Ohio, he brings a down-to-earth approach and a deep passion for helping others find stability and purpose in recovery. Jac believes true leadership comes from connection, creating a culture where everyone feels supported, respected, and valued. Family is at the center of who he is, and that sense of loyalty and care carries into his work every day. When he’s not guiding the team, you’ll find Jac cheering on his Cleveland Browns or spending time with loved ones. His integrity, compassion, and steady presence make him someone people can count on, both in recovery and in life.

Keon Fields

Operations Director

Keon brings a unique blend of personal recovery experience and professional expertise to his role in operations. With a background in psychiatric care and management of drug testing facilities in Massachusetts, he ensures the day-to-day structure and safety of the program. Keon is passionate about helping others overcome adversity, and his leadership reflects a deep commitment to supporting clients through their recovery journey.

DJ Cue

Business Development & Alumni Coordinator

DJ is a Boston native with a passion for building meaningful connections and fostering community among clients and families. With over 2.5 years of experience in the recovery field, he plays a pivotal role in business development and alumni relations at The Healing Center of Massachusetts. Born in California and raised bicoastally between the Inland Empire and Dorchester, DJ brings a unique perspective, heartfelt care, and a genuine desire to help others find their path to recovery. Outside of work, DJ enjoys camping, fishing, and swimming, activities that reflect his appreciation for peace, balance, and the beauty of life’s simple moments.

Stephen Ricco, MS, MSW, LADC 1

Clinical Director

Steve, our Clinical Director, brings a wealth of expertise to the team with a master’s degree and LADCI certification. As someone in recovery himself, Steve understands the challenges of addiction treatment firsthand and incorporates that experience into his trauma-informed approach. With a strong background in behavioral therapy and addiction treatment, he is deeply committed to helping others heal and thrive. Outside of work, Steve is a dedicated father, a passionate sports fan, and lives in Rhode Island. His personal and professional dedication makes him an integral part of our clinical team.

Meghan DiGiacomo

Clinical Supervisor

Meghan serves as the Clinical Supervisor at The Healing Center of Massachusetts, where she leads with calm strength, determination, and heart. Meghan has dedicated years to working in the field of recovery and is in recovery herself, giving her a personal understanding of the courage it takes to heal. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, all while balancing motherhood and leadership. Meghan’s devotion, grit, and compassion make her a cornerstone of the clinical team and a true example of perseverance and purpose.

Lizbeth Vargas, BS

Program Development Coordinator

Lizbeth is a dedicated team member with 4 years of experience in recovery treatment, currently pursuing her master’s in mental health counseling. As the first in her family to pursue higher education, Lizbeth is driven by her passion for empowering others and taking a holistic approach to care. Having lost close loved ones to addiction, she is deeply committed to helping those who are suffering. A dedicated mom, Lizbeth balances her personal and professional life with warmth, compassion, and a strong work ethic. She loves nature, is an active listener, and always brings a kind, caring presence to everyone she meets.

Melanie Bazillion, BS, LADC II

Clinical Outreach Coordinator

Melanie is a passionate advocate for recovery and healing, bringing over seven years of personal recovery experience to her work at The Healing Center of Massachusetts. Having begun her journey to sobriety during Christmas—a season of hope and renewal—Melanie embodies the spirit of transformation. She is a certified yoga instructor and integrates holistic practices into her approach to recovery and wellness. As an LADC II, Melanie is dedicated to helping others find balance and purpose in their healing journey through connection, mindfulness, and community outreach.

Thomas Ritchie BS, LADC II

Therapist

Meet Thomas, our new therapist with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, specializing in trauma-informed care. He holds a B.S. in Psychology from Bridgewater State University, an LADC II, and is currently pursuing his LMHC at Bay Path University with a focus on trauma therapy. Thomas has worked in diverse clinical settings including in-home therapy, methadone clinics, Section 35 programs, and inpatient and detox units. He is passionate about communication, relationships, men’s mental health, fitness, and LGBTQIA+ support. Outside of work, Thomas enjoys bodybuilding, powerlifting, landscaping, and has a love for rabbits, German Shepherds, and the color pink!

Amanda Carr, BA

Case Manager

Meet Amanda, one of our  case managers and a compassionate, positive force on our team. With her own recovery journey as a foundation, Amanda brings deep empathy and understanding to her work. She previously served as a Peer Recovery Specialist and comes equipped with a wealth of resources to support others on their path to healing. Amanda enjoys practicing yoga and mindfulness, and her calming presence helps create a safe, supportive space for clients. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her daughter, especially cheering her on at dance recitals. We’re thrilled to have Amanda join us—her warmth, experience, and heartfelt dedication make her a truly valued member of our team.

Teona Freeman

Med Tech

Teona is a certified Medication Administration Program (MAP) professional with two
years of experience working in recovery. She began her career as a Behavioral Health Technician and has since grown into a trusted and respected member of the Healing Center team. Known for her honesty, empathy, and down-to-earth personality, Teona connects deeply with clients by offering genuine advice and guidance that empowers them to make positive life choices. A nurturing mother and natural caregiver, Teona “keeps it real” while leading with love and laughter. She believes in healing through authenticity—and never forgets to add a little “spice” to life (and her food), thanks to her love for hot sauce.
